Blue Mustang Press is proud to announce the publication of Phillip E. Temples’ debut novel, The Winship Affair. This book is the first in a proposed series of mysteries featuring the sleuthing Carrie Bloomfield.

Boston, MA - The ever curious Carrie Bloomfield’s life is about to become much more interesting. The eccentric, but brilliant multidisciplinary scientist living in Cambridge, Massachusetts finds a mysterious package from a deceased colleague on her doorstep, and soon discovers that its secrets could lead to technologies that might revolutionize the world's energy supply. However, an international corporation knows about the materials, too. They're determined to have it -- and they're not about to allow the law, ethics -- or especially, a quirky scientist -- to stand in their way.

Phil Temples grew up in Bloomington, Indiana, USA. He's lived in Boston, Massachusetts for the past thirty-five years and works as a computer systems administrator at Boston College. For over ten years, Phil has written flash and short sci-fi/fantasy primarily for his own enjoyment.

His stories have appeared (or will soon appear) in several online journals, including: Indiana Science Fiction 2012, Bewildering Stories, The Zodiac Review, The World of Myth, InfectiveINk, Stupefying Stories, the Literary Yard, and Boston Literary Magazine.

The Winship Affair, published by Blue Mustang Press, is Phil's first novel. He's currently working on his second novel, a horror-mystery entited, Helltown Chronicles.

In addition to his writing activities, Phil is a singer in a garage band and an avid ham radio operator.

The Winship Affair is available through retail book outlets and through the publisher’s website at: www.BlueMustangPress.com.
