The launch of the new site, which offers easily accessible information on Darren Mercer Interiors' services, background, prices and ethos, is part of the company's ongoing growth throughout Europe and North America.

As part of the firm's efforts to protect the environment against global warming (which they claim has been partially caused by energy wasted in the home), the new website includes a new page entitled Green Interiors. This explains in detail the steps the company takes to reduce carbon emissions and save energy both in their company offices or during their builds.

The page also details information about Darren Mercer Interior's 100% recycled material-projects which took place for the first time on the continent in 2013. Three of these projects were completed in total last year and the company hopes to complete more Green Interior projects in the future, with an aim to reach 50% of all of their fits becoming green by 2018.

Company director and founder Darren Mercer was keen to show off the company's green credentials on their new site, saying “We're proud of our Environmental policy and we think it's important that our new site reflects that.”

In an attempt to encourage more clients to choose the eco-friendly route, the new site describes the company's pledge to offset the additional cost of installing energy-saving features into their designs, including wall, floor and loft insulation and LED lighting.
