Brenda J. Bentley’s new book presents her proven methods in ending emotional eating, weight loss struggles

“One in three people are obese and research shows that on average people spend 30 years of their life on a diet,” says author and therapist Brenda J. Bentley. “Diets only work short-term.” Her new book, “Eat, Guilt, Repent, and Repeat: Break the Cycle! Love Your Body, Your Food and Your Life!” (Published by AuthorHouse) provides a long-term solution that anyone can use to transform their relationship with food, oneself and life.

Other books focus on teaching eating rules to follow in order to get results. Those books work as long as one follows the rules, but it takes willpower in order to keep up with the rigid plan. “Eat, Guilt, Repent, Repeat” is different. It focuses on making change from the inside out, starting with thoughts and feelings. This book’s focus is on the inner game of transformation.

“Eat, Guilt, Repent, Repeat” is filled with theory and practice, as well as the personal stories of Bentley’s clients that offer real life examples for her methods. Readers will find both the information they need to learn, and the strategies they need transform their lives and make it sustainable.

Bentley’s professional experience has proven to her that her book is necessary. “People want to make peace with food and their bodies,” she says. “They want to lose weight and keep it off. This book teaches them how to do this starting with their thoughts.”

The book is available to purchase through all major booksellers. The official book launch is set for 16th January 2013 and a support group is in process of being set up for all those interested in learning more about the approach.
