On 18th March 2016, ASM group of institutes’ IBMR organised the 4th edition of Percept, a case study competition for its students in the presence of Dr. Asha Pachpande & Dr. S.B.Mathur who commenced the event by lighting the ceremonial lamp. A case study is an account of an activity, event or problem that contains a real or hypothetical situation and includes the complexities you would encounter in the workplace. Case studies are used to help you see how the complexities of real life influence decisions. The performances of the students were scrutinised under various aspects like their ability and expertise in analyzing a given topic. All the lecturers of IBMR graced the competition with their presence.
11 teams participated in the case study competition among which the ‘Tug of War’ event was won by Jasbeer Kaur,Pratiksha Kamble & Sumit Thorat, the ‘Boss is Boss’ was won by Deepika,Malvin Mathew,Roslin, AnuVijay Kumar and the ‘GST effect on Logistics’ was won by Shrutika Pawar, Neha Londhe, Ankita Merchant. Percept was a learning experience for the students as it got them acquainted with the various aspects case studies which would be very beneficial for them in the future.
