Harry Coumnas explains what It Would Be like to Live on Neptune’s Moon ‘Triton’

This press release was written to inform the readers about Harry Coumnas’ opinion about life on Neptune’s moon ‘Triton’.

“Like other gas giants in our Solar System, Neptune does not have sufficient solid surface to live on. But the largest moon of this planet called ‘Triton’ seems potentially habitable.” says Harry Coumnas, a notable astronomer and space physicist from South Africa.

Harry Coumnas recently visited Triton and managed to photograph the moon’s southern hemisphere. The images of Triton clicked by him clearly shows how the rocks & nitrogen ice have resulted in cratered & smooth regions. These areas are basically a result of the plumes of nitrogen gas & dust erupting from the moon’s crust. According to Harry, although there are winds in the thin atmosphere of Triton, you do not really feel any breeze when standing on its surface. He goes on to say that standing on Triton would almost feel like standing on our moon. On the basis of his study so far, he strongly believes in the possibility of life on Neptune’s moon and also plans to set up a space colony on it.

About Harry Coumnas

Harry Coumnas is a notable astronomer and space physicist from South Africa. So far, he has researched several planets, exoplanets, as well as satellites in his quest for life outside earth. Currently, he is researching about Neptune’s moon, ‘Triton’ and strongly believes that life can thrive on it. He also plans to set up a space colony on it one day.
