COLUMBUS, OH— Xposeyour LLC is seeking to train your next group of minority business professionals to hone their skills and gain leadership experience to use in their careers. Applications are now open for Xposeyour’s 2022 Diversity in Leadership Program, a dynamic program geared towards helping minority professionals attain senior-level leadership positions.

The Xposeyour Diversity In Leadership Program (DILP) was designed to develop impactful leaders from ethnic minority communities and partner with organizations that support their strategies, foster an inclusive workplace and retain a diverse workforce.

“There is a huge need for more diversity at the senior levels of many companies across all industries. Diversity is not only good for the consumers who are buying the products or services, but also for workplace culture,” CEO of Xposeyour and leader of the Diversity In Leadership Program, Shara Hutchinson said. “The workforce must be reflective of the world we live in.
There are discrepancies when you see the lack of black and other monitories in senior leadership positions, but this program helps companies push back by allowing them to invest in their minority talent. ”

The Diversity In Leadership Program is a six-month virtual program designed with the unique Over the 24 weeks, participants will build confidence to achieve their career goals, gain hands-on training in the 12 leadership competencies and engage in unique networking opportunities.

“This program is special to me because of my own personal leadership journey. I worked my way from a fast-food restaurant to the senior leadership team in the corporate space and to CEO of my own company,” Hutchinson said. “I realized, on my climb up, that even more barriers existed for minorities than I originally thought, some of those being internal mindsets that must be addressed to reach our full potential. Intentional partnerships with executive leaders, through this program to drive change, demonstrates commitment to diversify top talent and is one step closer to breaking such barriers.”

The Diversity in Leadership Program prepares high-achieving contributors to become part of the next generation of senior leadership. Some of the leadership competencies taught in the training includes talent optimization, change management, business strategy, execution, and effective communication.

This program gives people of color a better opportunity to get pointed training that sharpens their leadership skills while appreciating the advantages of culturally diverse teams. In addition to leadership training, participants also benefit from group sessions.

“Collaboration is vital to success as a business leader; therefore, it is a vital part of Xposeyour’s Diversity in Leadership Program,” Hutchinson said. “We incorporate immersion experiences and integrate real-world learning activities with leaders from various industries for external exposure.”

Each participant also receives one individual coaching session with Xposeyour’s CEO, Shara Hutchinson, to gain clarity on their career and leadership development goals to begin taking action towards them.
