Jodee Prouse is a prolific Canadian recovery and addiction advocate who for years battled through the trenches to help her alcoholic brother. Though not an addict, the passionate woman runs campaigns on addiction to help addicts and affected families, encouraging every to get help for themselves first. Her journey doesn’t end there. The motivational speaker has managed to spread the word not only in Canada but also across the borders. She has authored an addiction memoir by the name ‘’The Sun is Gone.’’ Unlike other stories of its kind this is the whole story of addiction and mental illness-not a partial glimpse. In spite of all of these challenges Jodee built a very successful beauty business always motivating women to be the best they can be.
