Do you own a Honda motorbike? Or is it a Kawasaki? Have you applied Honda graphics or Kawasaki graphics on it? If not yet, then it is likely that, on the road, it will look like any other ordinary bikes – plain looking. Make your Honda or Kawasaki stand out from the crowd. It can be customized with the graphics that says about your personality. Bike graphics and decals have been around for many years and there are fresh designs that are available today in the market, to show off your sponsorship.

Honda or Kawasaki graphics are sold in kits either online or on motorcycle stores. You can place them on your bike’s gas tank, faring, fenders, or around headlights. There is a variety of popular and unique designs including traditional flames, fire designs, pin up girls, skulls, lightning, wolves, pin striping, and many more. The Kawasaki and Honda graphics can also be applied to other motorcycle makes and models such as Yamaha, Suzuki, KTM, Harley Davidson, MX, BMW, Triumph, etc.

Some motorcycle parts and graphics stores offer their services to apply the Honda graphics or Kawasaki graphics to your bike, but when you buy online, you need to do this yourself. It seems like a daunting task, because if you mess it up, the result can be second rate and you yourself will not want to look at your beloved bike a second. However if you do the job right then you’ll be proud to take it to any rally and find more bikers staring at your graphic flames design than at hand-painted bikes around. When sunlight hits at the correct angle, the “flames” will look alive, and the effect is the same even at night when light shines on it.

To apply the Honda graphics or Kawasaki graphics to your bike, you must first remove the old graphics, if there are any. Using a heat gun or a hairdryer, soften up the plastic by heating it. You must be able to peel off the graphics in one piece. You can also use a chisel or paint scraper or any flat edged tool in peeling it off. Then, using a contact or brake cleaner, clean all the residues totally. Allow the surface to dry for some time.

To start applying the sticker, peel the backing paper off the graphic. After you have positioned it rightly, press it lightly on the plastic starting at the top and working your way down. If you are confident that you can perfectly apply the graphics by peeling off the entire backing paper, then do it. If not, you peel it off 2 inches at a time. Slide and press across the graphic with your fingers, taking care not to create creases or air bubbles. If you notice air bubbles, you can peel the graphic back to the problem area and apply it again. You can now proceed to apply the graphics to the other parts like the side plates, front plates, and rear mud guard. Pre-cut graphic kits are usually printed on scratch resistant and durable vinyl, and include pieces for tank, front, and sides. Most have special gas tank adhesives.
