Why attend:
Cloud security in the real world is anything but conventional. Much of how we implement security is upended by the underlying abstraction and automation used to develop cloud platforms. Although the same ideas apply, how they are used varies substantially, especially on a corporate scale. This course builds on the fundamentals of the CCSK Plus hands-on training by delving into practical cloud security for enterprise-scale cloud deployments. It will not cover Software as a Service and will only cover Infrastructure and Platform as a Service.
This is a hands-on cloud security Bootcamp for advanced students. Students should be familiar with using SSH to connect to and work with remote Linux computers, as well as navigating the Amazon Web Services console without using step-by-step screenshots.
