Immediate Response First Aid is introducing Certificate III in Aged Care Courses for elderly people providing personal care and support in their day-to-day life activities.

 
Welcome to Immediate Response Health & Safety Training- One of the top-notch health care training organization based on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland is introducing Certificate III in Aged Care Courses for elderly people who survive into their 80s, 90s and beyond. The first batch will commence on March 2nd 2015, the second batch will commence on June 22nd 2015 and the third batch will commence on October 12th 2015. The best part of our training program is that it provides you with an in-depth understanding of the industry. You will easily develop comprehensive knowledge, skills as well as experience.
This course is beneficial for those who work in aged care facilities and or care for the elderly. It includes providing personal care and support to an older person in day-to-day activities, meeting their emotional and psychological needs. Moreover, it will provide care and support for individuals suffering from dementia (one of the most common ailments in elderly which lead to decline in mental ability). It will also assist individuals with self-medication.
The duration of the aged care courses at Sunshine Coast ranges between 14-16 weeks, held at our Birtinya Training Centre. It includes 2 days per week in class training and 120 hours of practical work in a High Care Facility. The course comprise of 14 units of competency- 10 Core units and 4 Elective units. The Enrolment Fee is $210 (non-refundable) whereas the Tuition Fee is $2100.
Upon successful completion of the Certificate III in Aged Care Course, you can also develop a long term career in community services, serving wide range of communities as a community house worker, in-home respite worker, care assistant/worker, community care worker, personal care assistant, care services employee and accommodation support worker.
