TECTechnics is the natural approach to examining, packaging and presenting knowledge. The examination, packaging and presentation of knowledge using only the following universal concepts nature has provided us: Containership, Identity, Force, Motion, Change, Grouping/Interaction and Equilibrium

Mathematics is everywhere and in everything. It is a universal language and hence the primary means through which the secrets of the Universe are revealed. It is also the means through which almost all of us order our lives. We use mathematics to tell time, build homes, build vehicles, acquire and manage wealth, create medical procedures, machines and drugs that improve the quality of lives; create art, music and many more good things.

The invention of the number line is perhaps humanity's greatest accomplishment. It is astonishing that the number line was invented by ancient humans who had very little to work with. They used the concepts of variables, functions and equations to establish a one-to-one correspondence between physical entities in their space and familiar symbols. Thus the number line was initialized. The familiar decimal number system we use today went through centuries of development. Nonetheless, it has maintained its simplicity and sophistication.

We begin our mindwarmup with number problems since they are the foundation upon which mathematics is built. The number problems can be accessed by clicking the numbers item in the above menu. All other problems are categorized into the following seven universal concepts: containership, Identity, force, ,motion, change, grouping/interaction and equilibrium. In other words, the problems are packaged according to the TECTechnics format. We shall emphasize the mathematical work horses I call the Math triads: variables, functions and equations.

Problems are existential realities. Mathematics is the tool humans use to define and solve them. Mathematics like all other tools has the form-function duality. Its form is constituted by patterned thought.
