A chronic ear infection can cause ongoing symptoms such as ear pain, release, stuffy ears, muffled hearing loss and fatigue. If you're able to pinpoint the cause of the recurrent infection then remedy is more likely to work.

Lets Take a Look at the most common causes of chronic ear infections:

1) Poor immunity

The resistance of your body to disease can determine how many times you pick up infections. Infections in the ears often happen following a respiratory cold or flu, so it is critical that you work on boosting your immunity to be able to minimise these conditions. Low immunity could result from a bad diet, stress, smoking, and an underlying disease or a hereditary weakness.

2) Chronic bacterial infection

If you've got low immunity afterward specific germs may cause low grade infections which last for weeks or even months. Antibiotics can reduce the population of bacteria temporarily, however in case you don't manage the root cause of your low immunity, then the infection could return. Antibiotics can also cause bacterial resistance, which means that they might not be as successful the next time you employ them.

3) Chronic viral disease

Some viruses have been latent viruses which stay on your own body for life and may be re-activated whenever you are under stress or run down. When the virus recurs, symptoms of ears, congestion, and swollen lymph glands, fatigue and fever may reunite.

4) Chronic fungal infection

Recurrent swimmer's ear (an infection of the outer ear) may be brought on by a fungi like Candida. Drying the ears well after swimmingusing some topical antifungal creams like tea tree oil, also carrying some anti-fungal herbs can help eradicate the disease from the body. Candida also needs to be suspected in chronic ear infections who haven't responded to antibiotics.

5) Allergy

Recurrent infections can be triggered by allergens. Food allergies, especially to milk and wheat are typical. Exposure to environmental allergens like dust mite, mould, animal fur and cigarette smoke may also be a cause.

6) Biomechanical obstruction

Structural problems involving the jaw, skull or neck may lead to chronic diseases of the ears. Downs syndrome children or kids who've been through birth injury which impacts their mind structure are likely candidates for this issue.

7) Enlarged tonsils or adenoids

Enlarged adenoids or tonsils might cause a blockage from the Eustachian tubes. Fluid from the ear cannot flow freely along with the congested fluid functions as a breeding ground for viruses and bacteria.

Chronic Ear Infection Treatment
