This exciting year is filled with Sparkle, Glitz, and Glam! This unique program offers young women of color opportunity to truly experience the world of pageantry, “because you can get glitz and glam anywhere.” The Program is dedicated to equipping young women throughout the nation with valuable life skills, preparing her to be poised in life experiences and inspiring her to make a difference wherever she goes.

Lori Pelzer, Founder and National Director, started the organization in 2009 with a clear vision and dedication to enrich the lives of young women of color, exposing them to the world of pageantry that is often Exclusive or Closed to many. Mrs. Pelzer is a accomplished business woman who is currently embarking on several new ventures. Currently, she is embarking on a new journey in Leadership & Business Coaching. Mrs. Pelzer is no stranger to Pageantry, to her credit she has 18 years of experience (combined) as a Pageant Parent and a competitor.

In 2009, Lori was the first African American to be crowned as Mrs. SC International. Through these years of witnessing a lack of inclusion within the pageant community, she recognized a real need for exciting, inspiring programs that elevate and celebrate young women of color, particularly African American women who are not readily afforded these programs.
