3H Wins Grand Prize

The Daegu-Gyeongbuk Regional Office of Small and Medium Enterprises and Startups announced on the 24th that it held the ‘2018 Daegu-Gyeongbuk SME of the Year’ awards ceremony on the 21st to recognize outstanding companies in the region.

The 'Daegu-Gyeongbuk SME of the Year' award, now in its 20th year, is presented annually to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that have contributed to regional economic development and social contribution. The award aims to inspire business management enthusiasm and promote a positive corporate culture. Since its inception in 1999, the award has honored 344 exemplary SMEs and 113 outstanding technicians.

At this year's ceremony, 3H Co., Ltd. (CEO Jeong Young-je) won the grand prize. Awards were also given in various categories: Wintech Co., Ltd. in the Technology Innovation category, Taeryeong Construction Co., Ltd. in the Management Innovation category, Naratech Co., Ltd. in the Export category, and Value & Trust Co., Ltd. in the Creative Innovation category. Other winners included Baeklimjeong in the Small Business category, Sehwa VL Co., Ltd. and Quanta Materials Co., Ltd. in the Startup category, and Beyond Limit Co., Ltd. in the Job Creation category, with a total of nine companies being honored.
