Dera Sacha Sauda organisation was founded on 29 April 1948 by Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj. It is an organisation which prides itself in spiritual and social welfare of the society. This organisation is well known for its humanitarian works and it is being a confluence for all religions. There is no inequality of the religion caste and any other inequality does it prevail in this organisation. People from all religion come to Dera Sacha Sauda without any hesitation. There are more than 3 dozen world records are established in the world in the name of this organisation. This whole organisation is run by a single leader and who has influenced many people to live a healthy life that is Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan.
There are many social works that are being done by this organisation. This organisation motivates the independent women to marry handicapped persons of the marriageable age. Guruji that is Gurmeet Ram Rahim has adopted girls and women who were a victim of human trafficking as his own daughters. After that he has been sending them for medical treatment and than rehabilitate them with the social mainstream of our society that is marriage, he gives the fund required for the marriage and makes the arrangement for the same.
The most discriminated and least respected people in our society are eunuchs ( hijra/ kinar). But Guruji took an initiative for them and renamed them as Sukh Dua Samaj and also integrate them with social mainstream. Guruji and Dera Sacha Sauda arrange free treatment and marriage for them who suffer from the hostile acid throw by the miscreants. This organisation is a true inspiration as it encourages the people to pledge that they will never accept or give bribes to make India a corruption free country. They pray for the welfare of people and whole society by just encouraging the people to do atleast 10-15 minutes meditation in order to get and fit and they also have a motive that everyone should donate at least a minimum of Rs 1 for the welfare of the society.
There is unique motive of this organisation that is rather spending money on unnecessary expenditure on occasion like birth, marriage and death, they should utilise the money in such a way for the welfare works of humanity. Guruji and the organisation want to inspire by the youth and wanted them to stay away from the drugs and other addiction. For this they organise youth campaigns, sports campaigns and promoting mutual cooperation for a better society. They also spread awareness on the menace of AIDS and homosexuality by arranging seminars at the different places around the world. They also provide free books in the school and colleges regarding these, thus, encouraging moral values among the younger generation.
