In an effort to support as many people possible who dedicate energy and time to helping US service members transition and reintegrate into civilian lives, nine scholarships will be offered for the Hawk Eye Coach Training School.

San Diego, CA - BlueRio Strategies and its Hawk Collaborative division launches its final phase of the Veteran Development Coach Training pilot, an additional track (one for training and one for certification) has been added to increase the reach to others serving veterans, reservists and their family.

In an effort to support as many people possible who dedicate energy and time to helping US service members transition and reintegrate into civilian lives, nine scholarships (partial and full valued between $350 - $1100 each) will be offered for the October 18th session.

The Hawk Eye Veteran Development Coaching™ process is based on empowering, empowering, inspiring and helping others to grow. Hawks bring insight, vision and support to those around them. Practitioners of the process unlock people’s potential. They remove barriers to success while uncovering hidden strengths so that people can move their visions from dreams to reality. The Hawk Eye Veteran Development Coaching™ process utilizes theories and practical applications stemming from strength-based development, positive psychology, Interpersonal neurobiology as well as branding, to assist in uncovering a veteran’s best possible self. Jessi LaCosta, founder and Board Certified Coach instructs the course. Advisors include Joseph Almond – a Diversity and Leadership expert and Army veteran and Debra Pearce-McCall, PhD, LP, LMFT – President of GAINS and professor at Portland State. All classes are online and can be accessed by virtually anyone with a computer and high-speed Internet.
“Jessi LaCosta brings skill, knowledge and wit to an array of topics that are important to students and other potential leaders in our community. Jessi has the ability to tailor her presentations to fit a multitude of audiences, so that complex topics can be understood by all, from beginners to experts. The quality that sets Jessi apart from others, though, is her passion for her work and her compassion for her clients.” Anthony Butler, University of Baltimore, Baltimore, MD
Who is the training for? The training is applicable for many professionals including teachers, trainers, admission counselors, nonprofit executives, counselors and small business owners.

Why do service members respond to coaching? These men and women will face both exciting and often challenging situations dealing with integrating into the civilian sector – as professionals, as students, as spouses as entrepreneurs. Often they want and deserve to speak confidentially to a specialist about developing strategic and thoughtful plans to accomplish their dreams. Often they seek assistance from a trusted person for brainstorming and planning. The results are that they get to maximize new opportunities and continue to contribute to society.

“I am grateful to have had the opportunity to be coached. After spending 10 years in the military, I left with no confidence in myself or my future in the civilian world. Coaching helped me define my strengths, skills and goals. I figured out a college major, improved resume and LinkedIn profile, interview preparation, and chose a career field.” C.D. US Navy Veteran
