Epoc Messe Frankfurt, organiser of Paperworld Middle East, is gearing up to welcome a growing European exhibitor presence when it takes place in Dubai in March. The upcoming edition of the leading trade show for paper products and office supplies, has already confirmed a strong contingent from European exhibitors.

Attracted by the steadily growing economies of the region, European companies are increasingly viewing Paperworld Middle East as an integral part of their regional expansion plans at a time where business development in the European market is slow.

The largest increase in terms of space occupied comes from French exhibitors whose presence is 154% larger than the previous year. Spanish exhibitors will take up 90% more than at the last edition, with exhibitors from Greece, Italy, UK and the Netherlands logging increases of 44%, 38%, 19% and 14% respectively.

“With the region enjoying a sustained period of economic growth it has become increasingly attractive to European manufacturers in search of vibrant new markets to offset the slowdown in Europe,” said Ahmed Pauwels, CEO of Epoc Messe Frankfurt.

“European exhibitors are already familiar with the Paperworld brand and see the Middle East exhibition as an ideal platform to gain traction in the regional markets as well as gain an in-depth understanding of current regional trends,” Pauwels added.

T3L Group is one of the exhibitors familiar with the benefits of exhibiting at Paperworld Middle East. For the third year in a row the group will be showcasing self adhesive pockets, identification badges and cold lamination products from their Danish subsidiary 3LOP and also a range of display systems and display pockets for organising and displaying documents from French firm Tarifold.

“It is still a new market for our products. We now have a distributor - Grafic International based in Dubai with branches in Abu Dhabi and Qatar. Now we are looking forward to meeting people from other countries of the region and Africa in particular,” said Natalia Bydina-Mosser, Export Manager, T3L Group.

Latvian office supplies major Fopi Ltd. will present their varied range at Paperworld Middle East. The company’s product range under the brand Forpus, is present across the EU and the countries of the former Soviet Union. “We regard Paperworld Middle East as a good opportunity to increase our sales geography as well as to promote our brand to new markets. We sincerely hope we can succeed in achieving these goals,” said Pavel Ustinovics, CEO of Fopi Ltd.

Greek paper products major A&G Paper SA are eyeing the Middle East market for their range of products which include: coloured cardboard chroma, special papers in sheets and envelopes, paper for book binding, wrapping and packaging, exercise books, work books & note books, spiral note books, pads for every need, calendars & diaries, files, folders and binders.

Merpo Derventii, Marketing Manager of A&G Paper S.A. said: “Paperworld Middle East is a world-recognized fair that allows companies like A&G Paper S.A. to present their products to a variety of new people and cultures.”

Paperworld Middle East brings the unmatched expertise, scope and reach of the Frankfurt-based parent show to key decision makers, buyers and customers in the region.
