Music is Everywhere and in Everything

You simply cannot make a good movie without music, at least, not one that would be nearly as dynamic and memorable.

Music makes the world go around. It inspires people to achieve more, feel better about themselves, and is the key ingredient in love. If you do not believe that, think back to when you first fell in love. Remember how you wanted to sing out loud and tell the whole world what you were feeling? Do you remember how the songs on the radio had more meaning just because you were in love? Do you remember your song, the one that captured everything that was right about your relationship? The person you were in love with called it "our song." What's Love Got To Do With It? Without music, love would be just another second hand emotion. A full 99% of all the songs ever written are about love in some form or fashion because music is the language of love. It is the one true way in which you can express love to someone outside of actions that speak louder than words and almost as loud as music.

The Yanks Are Coming Music is not just about love, however and the important powers that be know this. Presidents know this. In 1936 President Franklin Delano Roosevelt awarded George Cohan of Broadway fame the Congressional Medal of Honor for writing the songs that inspired a nation and the fighting men during WWI. Songs like "Over There" got men out of their seats and into recruitment halls all over the country as men marched towards Germany to put an end to the atrocities of evil men. I'm a Pepper Music is used in advertising to get your attention. Snappy, unforgettable jingles like the Dr. Pepper songs that were written by Barry Manilow have made that soft drink the most popular soft drink ever in the whole world (Dr. Pepper... Drink Dr. Pepper). Advertisers know that if they can get a song from their product stuck in your head, you are much more likely to rmexpert that product and feel good about it. The Sound Of Music is one of the reasons movies are so popular.

You simply cannot make a good movie without music, at least, not one that would be nearly as dynamic and memorable. This has grown into an industry all of its own with names like Paul Williams and James Newton Howard becoming household names. Even Elton John, world renowned pop star and rock icon, has dabbled in the movie music business starting with "Friends" and the soundtrack thereof in the 70's and more famously, The Lion King, Aida and Billy Madison. Bob Was Right If music were not as pervasive in our everyday lives, life would not be nearly as interesting. Can you imagine a movie experience without it? A halftime show without a marching band, or a parade that went by without making any noise? (What did I miss... another parade? Darn). Life would be blander and less real without the music that moves us, makes us want to dance and help us fall in love. As Bob Marley said, “One good thing about music is when it hits you feel no pain.” So hit me with some music.
