It’s almost three months without any international cricket match being played due to the COVID-19 pandemic as all the major sports were either called-off or postponed. But now things are getting different as different boards are in talks with each other to somehow organise a series with taking all the precautions and to play matches in an empty stadium.

The first international series which we will be witnessing will be played between England and West Indies. Both the teams will play three Test matches in 20 days in two venues (The Rose Bowl, Southampton and Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester).

England vs West Indies - 1st Test - July 08 - July 12 - The Rose Bowl, Southampton

England vs West Indies - 2nd Test - July 16 - July 20 - Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester

England vs West Indies - 3rd Test - July 24 - July 28 - Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester

The West Indies Cricket Team on Tuesday 9th June arrived at Manchester to begin their historic tour of England amid this pandemic.

The ICC has not decided on the T20 World Cup 2020 whether it will go ahead as per schedule or will it be postponed. If the ICC decides in favor of postponement there is more probability BCCI will use that window to organize IPL 2020.

On the other hand the Sri Lankan Cricket has earlier requested BCCI for series in July to which BCCI deferred and hold it on wait and watch but now reports are suggesting that BCCI has agreed for the bilateral series in August in which Indian National Cricket Team will tour Sri Lanka for 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is.
