Australian Innovative Systems (AIS) Achieves Success at Major Middle East Event

AIS’ is one of Australia’s most innovative companies. It has looked to the past to reinvent the future.

Australian Innovative Systems (AIS) has strengthened regional business connections and generated more potential export opportunities for Australian water disinfection products during the Middle East’s premier exhibition for the leisure, sports, and resort industries in Dubai.

AIS was the only representative from Australia’s water disinfection industry exhibiting at The Leisure Show at the Dubai World Trade Centre as part of its commitment to showcasing Australian technology and promoting industry and consumer education.

Ms Gosse made a special presentation as part of the event’s Swimming Pool and Spa Conference on the dangers of conventional chlorine dosing. Ms Gosse warned that pools could become ticking time bombs wherever public swimming facilities are still using outdated and unsafe conventional chlorine dosing whether in liquid, granular or gaseous form.

“There was a tremendous response to my message that public safety is being put at risk with the use of conventional chlorine dosing,” she said.

“Many progressive facilities have adopted AIS’ inline chlorine generation via electrolysis for their water disinfection needs which negates the need for storage or handling of chlorine on site.”

Ms Gosse said while AIS exports to more than 50 countries worldwide and already has some of its systems operating in the Middle East, The Leisure Show offered a terrific opportunity to grow AIS’ business further and bolster Australian export markets.

“This was a significant event for AIS to attend and reinforces the global direction of our company to focus on our core offer of designing and manufacturing quality water disinfection technology while collaborating with other industry professionals as required.

“For over 25 years we’ve produced quality, salt, mineral and freshwater chlorine generators and this is what has cemented our reputation globally.

“We’ve seen other companies try and diversify with poor quality products which has only damaged the industry’s reputation in the marketplace” she said.

“The strong interest in our products from the MENA region proves there are opportunities to further grow the total Australian water disinfection and pool industry business providing products are simple to use, effective and of the highest quality.”

Ms Gosse said a wide range of industry professionals attended her presentation and visited the AIS stand at The Leisure Show, including engineers, specifiers, pool maintenance contractors, pool builders and architects.

“We are delighted with the genuine interest shown and there were several post-show meetings initiated by various parties,” she said.

“We were able to show glowing testimonials from AIS customers, including pool operators and industry professionals, and this added a lot of credibility to my presentation. The audience could see how AIS technology is a safe, simple and smart solution for pool water disinfection.”

The Leisure Show was attended by more than 150 international suppliers including more than 5,000 industry professionals - architects, designers, commercial developers and key decision makers, visiting the show to network, source the latest innovations, products, and equipment to build, operate and maintain their resort, fitness centre, spa, outdoor area, theme park and other leisure facilities.
