“Yellowfin has also enhanced the mobile experience with collaboration features, which support annotations, discussions and content sharing between users.”

Yellowfin General Manager for EMEA, Daniel Shaw-Dennis, said that as a consumer-oriented BI solution, delivering easily accessible mobile reporting and analytics was at the forefront of Yellowfin’s product strategy.

“At Yellowfin, we understand that with increasingly mobile workforces, and on-the-go executives, people need to be able to make fact-based decision anywhere, anytime,” said Shaw-Dennis. “That’s why Yellowfin offers Mobile BI out-of-the-box, on any device or platform at no additional cost, via native applications for the iPhone, iPad, hybrid HTML 5 application for Android devices or Web-browser.”

Analysis in The BI Survey 14 echoed Shaw-Dennis’ comments.

“In many ways, mobile represents the future of BI,” stated the report. “Eventually, there will be many more end users employing mobile devices to access and analyze data. Yellowfin is well-positioned to take on this new realm.”
