Media 7: What is your favorite part of working on eBay?
Nidhi Gupta: My favorite part of working on eBay is being part of a company with such a rich purpose. Since our founding, eBay has been there to empower people and create economic opportunities for all. We are a reasonable brand, with a unique heritage, and as a seller it attracts me.
Our market is dynamic - enriched by a community of merchants with an incredible sense of belonging, pride and interest in eBay; customers come to the bay looking for something special and rejoice when they find it; and employees involve similar problems.
M7: What methods do you use as a digital marketing director to point to a stable outlook?
NG: I like the data! Our teams use the data to predict where the goal is going next. We rely entirely on CRM for our detailed travel and segment support, creating moderation assumptions to determine whether operations should be on the acquisition side, and if we notice deviations or declines in other customer segments, we resolve by direct communication. Given this confirmation, not only do we work closely with our Analytics, but we also have members of Analytics in Marketing.
M7: What is the value of customer feedback? How does it play a role in changing marketing strategies?
NG: Everything we do is for our customers - our customers and sellers. Customer feedback is also important to Severnjača at all stages of our team. The gene for our first payments on eBay is to improve the user experience by removing disputes and creating a seamless user experience. Prior to launch, we conduct product, market and user research, including ethnographic studies, whether it is adding to a new market or opening a new product. We continue to listen to what our customers have to say through continuous reviews, supplier communities and forums, learning and guidance. We have launched a supplier support program dedicated to our payment system where our marketing, production and engineering teams and our customers get a direct opportunity.

M7: What are your main marketing and marketing strategies to attract more customers to your website?
NG: In my work, I do not direct user traffic directly to the site, but focus on raising customer awareness, educating and accepting new payment methods at bay. By streamlining end-to-end payment systems, we are simplifying the tracking system by providing our customers with a wide range of options and flexibility with new payment methods such as Apple Pay and Google Pay, as well as local payment methods such as Afterpay in Australia and PayBright in Canada.
M7: How important is it to take a flexible payment system to build and target your customer base?
NG: Payment is important for the quality of any market. By controlling payments via eBay in our market, we stabilize and simplify the experience of our customers at one point of sale, payment and running their business. And by offering new payment methods, we are opening the door to new customers around the world to join our community. It's really fun to be a part of this innovative eBay program.

M7: What is your mantra for successful marketing?
NG: My mantra for successful marketing is to always be kind to the customer. Put yourself in the place of the consumer, now more than ever. Respect the customer with respect, maintain clarity in communication and maintain a high standard: build a relationship.
