The decider between India and New Zealand which was played at Hamilton saw the highest runs scored at the ground in T20Is, as the host scored 212-4 in the 3rd T20I against the Indian National Cricket Team.

 
The decider between India and New Zealand which was played at Hamilton saw the highest runs scored at the ground in T20Is, as the host scored 212-4 in the 3rd T20I against the Indian National Cricket Team. The match saw 420 runs scored in 40 overs including 32 fours and 23 sixes in both the innings.

The New Zealand National Cricket Team registered the second most runs in a three-match T20I series by scoring 589 runs in the series. The host played magnificently throughout the series and finally won the decider and beat the visitors by just only 4 runs in the last T20I and they didn’t let the Indian team fulfil their dream of winning a T20I series in New Zealand, it was for the first time when the Indian team had won the ODI series in New Zealand as they defeated the host by 4-1 but they failed to do so in T20Is. The score of 212/4 was New Zealand's second highest against India in T20Is.

Tim Seifert was named Player of the Series for his tremendous batting as he scored 139 runs in 3 innings with an average of 46.33.

As the last foreign tour before the CWC 2019 has been completed the Indian fans are eagerly waiting for India vs Australia which is going to start from Feb 24 and will consist of 2 T20Is followed by 5 ODIs in India.

This will be last International series for team India before the CWC 2019 as there are no further matches scheduled in the month of April due to IPL 2019 starting from 23rd March
