1. Vasisthasana:
This yoga asana is one of the variants of Chaturanga Dabdasana and also known by the name side plank. This is a beginner level Hatha yoga asana and is named after Guru Vashistha. It improves the balance of your body, stretching your wrists, putting stress on your arms and stretches them. Practice it every day morning on an empty stomach to get the best result.
2. Chaturanga Dandasana:
It is a low plank pose involving all the limbs of your body that is the reason it is also known as four-limbed staff pose. This yoga pose is a beginner level Vinyasa yoga asana. It gives strength to your arms and wrists and to develop core stability. It also increases your stamina and trains your body to do arm balances. This pose must be done in the morning on an empty stomach to get the best results.
3. Bakasana:
In Sanskrit, “Baka” means a crane. Bakasana is named because it gives the close resemblance of a crane and that of a perched crow. It needs the effort to perform this pose, and it is an intermediate level Hatha yoga asana. This yoga pose gives strength to your forearms, wrists, and shoulders. It also prepares your mind and body to face the challenges in your life. Perform this pose in the early morning on an empty stomach and hold this pose to 30 to 60 seconds for best results.
4. Ardha Pincha Mayurasana:
The pose has close resemblance with a dolphin, and this is the reason why it is known as a dolphin poses popularly. This is a beginner level Ashtanga yoga asana. The pose has many benefits in your body like relieving tension, stretching your shoulders, opening your chest and keeping your body strong. Practice it in the morning or evening but on an empty stomach.
5. Astavakrasana:
You need to perform this yoga for stronger arms. It is named after a sage, Astavakra whose body was crooked in eight places. It is an advanced level Ashtanga yoga asana and is also known as the eagle pose. This yoga pose helps to provide strength to your shoulder, wrists and your arms. It also improves your blood circulation. You must hold onto this pose for a minute while practicing it daily morning on an empty stomach.
6. Mayurasana:
In Sanskrit “Mayur” means peacock and this pose looks the same when you perform it. This pose is an intermediate level of Hatha Yoga asana. This is one of the best yoga poses for your arms which provide strength to your hands, elbows, and wrists. It also detoxifies your body. Practice it daily on an empty stomach.
7. Adho Mukha Vrksasana:
Also known as the Handstand, this pose needs you to balance your whole body on your hands. It is an advanced level of Hatha yoga asana. This pose energizes your body and provides strength to arms, shoulders, and wrists. You need to hold for 1-3 minutes and practice regularly.
