Business Problem solution in Delhi Life consists of a series of problems and actions; problems occur to everybody. In fact, it is rather a false notion that problems seek out only a few individuals. But, individuals vary in their responses to the life's problems: some run away, some just suffer without taking action, some feel threatened, some commit suicide, while some face and resolve them. The ideal goal for any sensible individual is to resolve a problem and enjoy the life. But, how can one accomplish this?
As an individual destined to have problems, I had problems too - my health failed, my career had a roller-coaster ride, my children did not get admissions into colleges that we wanted, and I lost a job which I was doing for over 16 years, at a time when I should get a regular paycheck to support my college-going children. But I resolved all my problems by a following a process which I designed myself and which I will surely follow for all future problems. I must, however, say that it is only founded on the biblical teachings and the wisdom propounded by many achievers on this earth.
The process and wisdom involved in resolution of life's problems can be encapsulated in just four action verbs: preparation, people management, persistent performance and prayer. The foregoing process is the one I employ for all my problems. The same process, for instance, worked perfectly for one of my most recent, life and death problem - when I lost my best job midlife and but I got an alternative which is thousand times better than that. Let me explain each step of the process one by one.
Preparation. You have to prepare for life and its attendant problems. It means that you have to plan your life. Planning involves envisioning the future uncertainties, developing alternatives and getting equipped with resources. The preparation starts with setting of goals. Problem that has manifested is, to some extent, a sign of lack of planning. While solving the current problem is an immediate goal, an overarching life goal has to be set. A goal gives focus for ( concentration on) the activities. "On the best sunny day, the most powerful magnifying glass will not light paper if you keep moving the glass. But if you focus and hold it, the paper will light up. That is the power of concentration."( Khera 225) "A goal is an objective, a purpose. A goal is more than a dream; it is a dream being acted upon"( Scwartz, David J.,283)
Setting of goals or listing of alternative solution is facilitated if one writes it on papers. "An incredibly powerful technique for solving problems is by simply writing it down. It seems rather simple, but it can often allow you to solve problems you previously thought were impossible." (Young)
The loss of job shocked me initially; it means that I was in a comfort zone and so I did not prepare for such shocks. I realized my folly. Within six months, I started building my strengths in the identified areas and prepared the pathway for the resolution of the problem - better late than never.
People Management. People will help you in crises; if you, on the other hand, disrespect them, they may create 'crises' for you. Carefully handled, relations with individuals will solve your problems-they give information and resources. Learn how to deal with people. John Rockfeller says "I will pay more for the ability to deal with people than for any other ability under the sun" ( Qutd, Khera 152). Khera, Shiv says that we do not have business problems. We have people problems. When we solveour people problems, our business problems are substantially resolved. People knowledge is more important than product knowledge. (152)
Friends have helped me in locating the opportunities; guided me on the essentials of new profession. They keep helping me in one problem or the other even now, from somewhere. Persistent Performance. There is no alternative to hard work. There is no impossibility for an industrious and persevering person. Henry Ford said, "The harder you work, the luckier you get." ( Qutd, Khera 59). Shiv Khera says, "Success is not something that you run into by accident. It takes a lot of preparation and character. Everyone likes to win, but how many are willing to put in effort and time to prepare to win" (59)
What is important here is not only hard work but also working hard long enough till the problem is resolved. I, for instance, took the pains of preparation, without taking to heart all the failures and rejections that I came across on the way. Results don't come forth with a few hard shots. They take more shots than you usually think.
Prayer. Prayer and faith beget each other. Prayer gives the inner energy to persist in efforts; it sustains faith. Faith is indeed the greatest miracle-working power imaginable. Faith never fails a person; we fail when we give up our faith ( Shuller 119).
The end product of the process recounted in the foregoing paragraphs is that I landed a good and high-paying job, which is not only secure but also gives me a lot of job satisfaction. Planning, people skills, persistent performance and prayer are the key to resolution of an existential problem.
