Carla Atherton the author of the book ‘Family health revolution’ is a mother of three kids. She has created this book with a view to help families to improve their health. She has expressed her thoughts with her own family experiences.

 
Saskatoon, Canada (September 09, 2017) – When her own daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in 2012, her family was launched with a new life with doctors and needles. She started experiencing the ups and downs of parenting a child with chronic illness. She found what was available to her and her family and found the answers herself.

Then, she decided to help parents looking for a good support in parenting kids with chronic illnesses. So, she wrote the book called ‘Family Health Revolution’. This book has everything that she learned in her life in dealing such kids. The book is expected to be released on 2nd January 2018 and she has posted a project on Kickstarter requesting support for the same.

Not just type 1 diabetes, parents struggling with kids with any type of illness like autism, allergy, eczema, mood disorders or any other illness can get the best help from this book. The book talks many things about parenting for health, teaching self-care to children, etc.

She is the director of the Lotus Health Project and she is also the host of the Children’s Health Summit. In addition, she has many roles to play in her life like editor, writer, nutrition coach, curriculum developer, yoga instructor, etc.
