After successfully completing his junior year at Burbank High School in San Antonio, Texas, William T. Gholson earns a spot with the Alamo team. He will be responsible for guests as one of the guides of the Battlefield Tour, an activity that shows the true depths of the iconic battle. Guests are usually accompanied by Alamo History interpreters, who explain the details of the battle, with special emphasis on certain key facts that are not necessarily well-known among the audience.

The tour itself follows the original outline of the battle, taking the guests through every important part of the landmark.
