Abu Dhabi, UAE (19/5/2018) - When you’re aiming to extend your help until it mends the lives of the widest range possible of victims of endless wars in the Middle East, a massive-scale effort is needed, and the help of various parties must be provided.

A true example of such an effort is the SIHO/UniRef collaboration with its main academic partner, Isra University, to set up a form of Higher Education where the curriculum is Arabic and adaptable to the needs of young refugees in the Jordanian-Emirati camp in Jordan.

Because of the project’s international background, the teaching is done in state-of-the-art methods taking place in classrooms inside the camp with the direct supervision of university professors and instructors. These university programs will lead to diplomas provided by the Ministry of Higher Education.

UniRef has equipped the facility with computer rooms, USB keys and many more. Students will have access to oneyear University Education in Computer Science, Mobile Engineering, or Logistic Management. Furthermore, partnering with the Jordan Red Crescent enabled SIHO/UniRef to provide 18month vocational training programs in a variety of subjects from First Aid to Violence Prevention, with emphasis on providing education to the refugees as well as the host community in order to “promote a spirit of equality and tolerance”.

It’s a habit for Emirati corporations to stand by such a quality leap in lessening the burdens of refugees in the Emirati-Jordanian camp in Jordan. This aid came in the form of Al Badie Group providing financial support for the project as instructed by the group’s management and executed by its CEO & vice president Mr. Khaled Al Badie. Yvelyne Wood (SIHO/UniRef Cofounder) expressed her deepest thanks on behalf of UniRef, to Al Badie Group’s management for their invaluable support.

About Mr. Khaled Al Badie:
Khaled Mohammed Bin Juan AL Badie, CEO & vice president of Al Badie Group of companies, he is a 51% shareholder of UniTeam on behalf of Al Badie Group.
