FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASEGrenada (March 19, 2015): In an effort to bring together people of Grenada and the Republic of Korea, dissolving the feeling of geographical distance, attorney Jerry Seales, Honorary Consul of South Korea in Grenada appoints a five member volunteer steering committee to support the Caribbean Open Teakwondo Conference hosted by the Grenada Martial Arts Association and School of Teakwondo in Late October. To be hosted by Grenada School of Martial Arts and Taekwondo, the ITF Caribbean Open Competition invites all practitioners of martial arts and guests to showcase their talents and skills at the competition. This event is aimed at providing both schools and students an opportunity for promoting their expertise and skills, where participating schools will have the advantage of recruiting students in their particular discipline. Among those elite personalities supporting this event Jerry A. Seales, one of the 17 honorary consuls of Republic of Korea-Grenada is one of them who had joined the Honorary Consul Workshop held in Seoul in 2012, which was designed to promote traditional culture of Korea through interaction among Honorary Consuls. Also supported by the Ministry of Sports, Grenada, this event is under the International Taekwondo Federation where Senior Master Mitchell VIII Dan, President, Caribbean Taekwon-Do Federation is the Executive Board Member. This competition will be held on Late October and is open to participants worldwide. Mr. Seales, supporting this event is also a member of the International Association of Korean Lawyers and the founder of Seales School of Music and Performing Arts Inc (WWW.SEALESMUSIC.COM), a non profit organization offering courses and workshops in guitar, piano, drum and more to promote music education in Grenada.
