Formerly serving as the program director of Phaneuf Youth Center, Galen Stone was responsible for all the aspects of program operations. Besides, he participated in a Boston based 16 bed short-term intensive treatment program for old boys age 13-18 years that is highly committed to DYS. Apart from supervising the staff members, Galen also supervised all Department Directors that include Clinical, Education and Residential, Psychiatrist, Nurse, Bookkeeper and MSW interns.

While serving at Phaneuf Youth Center, Galen Stone received an 11-year contract by DYS with a 100% rating under intense standards, thus meeting all the proposed requirements. This contract was the highest rating and longest-term contract Massachusetts State History.

Being the care manager and the program director of CFFC program at Brockton Area Multi-Services, Inc., Galen Stone developed and served multiple roles in the pilot program for the State. This program was conducted as a response to the lawsuits initiated by the parents as their children were receiving inadequate services through the state run programs. Here, he was responsible for the coordination and wraparound services for more than 50 at-risk families within Brockton. Besides, Galen facilitated meetings and services on all fronts on behalf of the children and their families. He also conducted home-based therapeutic services while working with the youth and their families.

Hailing from Marion, MA, Galen Stone served as the coordinator of Boston Youth Education Fund at The Boys and Girls Clubs of Boston, Inc. Here, he counseled club members and coordinated their placement at colleges and private schools. He worked on developing, coordinating, supervising and supporting nearly 150-member volunteer program from many local undergraduate and graduate students from Northeastern, BU, Simmons, MIT and Harvard.

Galen Stone is a Program Director who has worked extensively at managing care services at large organizations as well as private contracts. His last project includes personal care of two elderly Gentlemen at Marion, Massachusetts (one of them suffering Alzheimer’s disease). His four decades long career include the large firms like New Life Inc., Life Resources Inc. and many more. On holidays, you are more likely to find him fishing, Scuba Diving or planning more exercise strategies for his private contract-patients.
