This Press Release is written to inform the readers that Galen L. Stone’s services are still remembered: Boys and Girls clubs of Boston.

 
“It’s been thirty years that Galen has left the organization, but we still remember his services as a Coordinator”, says a renowned personality at Boys and Girls Clubs of Boston. Galen had served the Club from 1979 through 1990. Amazingly, the three decades in between have failed to erase his contribution. It is phenomenal and teaches us what extensive amount of good deed end up paying.

Galen L. Stone has been serving people for decades now. Starting his career at the Club, Galen worked closely with the administration to understand the concerns of the members and resolved them in the best possible way. “He had his own way of managing things, and it was fruitful for a longer time” remembers the Chairman. His Principles and Idles have helped them grow more and established a sense of responsibility among the members.

Galen L. Stone was deeply interested at attending human nature and predicting their future abilities and consequences. Apart from just coordinating the Club, Galen indulged himself to a thesis, which was published under the name “Boys’ Village Follow-Up Study” (1977–1978). It involved a case study of 150+ Alumnae from the Club.

Apart from Coordinator, Galen L. Stone was also the head of Education, during the late 1980s at BGCB. He is remembered to have coordinated and supervised 50+ clubhouse Educational Programs, in and outside the club. He had a good contact with the Greater Boston area teachers. He had worked closely with the teachers and the staff, making sure that the quality they offer to the club members, is higher. His efforts helped the club work extensively, with the teachers and staff of the area schools and museums.

Galen L. Stone was awarded the “Outstanding Outreach Worker for DYS” for his services to BGCW in the year 1989. Receiving the awarded in his first job, quite explains the recognition he has had received, and the dedication he had offered.

Galen L. Stone is a Program Director who has worked extensively at managing care services at large organizations as well as private contracts. His last project includes personal care of two elderly Gentlemen at Marion, Massachusetts (one of them suffering Alzheimer’s disease). His four decades long career include the large firms like New Life Inc., Life Resources Inc. and many more. On holidays, you are more likely to find him fishing, Scuba Diving or planning more exercise strategies for his private contract-patients.
