Prior to his current job as a Financial Planner at Highland Financial Group in Wellesley, MA, Pieter Stalenhoef worked as an equity analyst at Wells Capital Management. While serving this role, he worked as the consumer, media, and healthcare analyst on the Wells Fargo Global Opportunities Fund, which has been a top-ranked fund consistently, and has even earned four stars from the popular independent investment research firm, Morningstar. One of Pieter’s key responsibilities in the company was to develop models for earnings and cash-flow while collaborating with the international team on new stock ideas.

Pieter Stalenhoef has worked with many other leading organizations in the past, including Provident Bank, Cincinnati; Fidelity Investments, Boston; and Evergreen Investments. Outside of work, Stalenhoef leads an active life with interests like tennis, skiing, and cycling that keep him occupied. He has also been an active member of the Boston Security Analysts Society for more than 18 years, and has had the privilege of appearing on Barron’s Magazine for his interviews about Femsa, a Mexican convenience store chain, and MBT, a Russian telecom company.
