There is no denying in the fact that working hard honestly and striving towards your goal passionately never goes in vain. And this has been recently exemplified by Mrs. Shweta Chaudhary, a mother of two kids, who bagged the title of Mrs. India Earth 2017 by defeating 46 contestants in the contest.

The beauty pageant was organized in the capital of India – Delhi, being judged by eight honorable judges including former model and Bollywood actress Mahima Chaudhary. The pageant consisted a total of 10 rounds amongst which Shweta won Mrs. Popular Choice Award also. In the traditional round, she wore a Banarasi brocade lehenga where the dupatta had the designs of the map of her home state Uttar Pradesh along with a collage of famous personalities, festivals and places of UP.

The pageant winner was born and brought up in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. After completing her graduation there, she went to Mumbai to try her luck in modeling and acting. But destiny had some other plans for her. Her career halted when her father suddenly passed away and she landed up in a job at an engineering firm. There she met her life partner Amit Chaudhary with whom she tied knots in 2007. Even after marriage, it was her husband who encouraged her and let her followed her dreams. She always gives special credits to her husband who always believed in her. She also thanked Mrs. Ritika Ramitri who trained her for the contest. She also thanked Mr. Vinay Yadav and Mrs. Ritika Vinay (National Directors of Mrs. India Earth) who gave her platform to showcase her talent. She thanked them saying, “Mr Vinay and Mrs Ritika have lend their immense support and guidance to me and it has helped me to win the crown.”

The crown holder is not only a trained Kathak dancer but also a holistic healer, nutritionist and a philanthropist. She had been actively associated with HCWA (Handicapped Children and Women Association) and several other handicapped and blind schools. Moreover, she is also volunteering in several mental wellness support groups. Shweta will now represent India globally in Mrs. Earth pageant which will be held in Las Vegas in June 2018.

Shweta is an inspiration to all the women community who believe that their life after marriage will be restricted within the walls of their homes.
