December, 2014 – 110Athletics, a new company in Fort Wayne, Indiana which focuses on healthy snacks for kids, is hoping to open between fifty and one hundred new job opportunities within the next three to five years. The Fort Wayne company has just launched back in March and already is making strides.
Kids healthy lunch ideas are crucial for their health and performance in their sport of choice and 110Athletics aims to close the gap that regular sports-nutrition products like protein packs tend to forget about. Most products cater to adults but these opportunities open up healthy, sports-centered snacks for children.
110Athletics hopes to re-energize the local economy with these new job openings, allowing more people in the sports and science industry to find employment. These 100 new jobs would be the first of many in the region and could hold the hope for the company to expand as its products start to reach all four corners of the country.
The unemployment rate in Fort Wayne, Indiana is at 5.1%, significantly lower than the 11.2% peak back in 2009 and is 0.6 points below the 5.7% unemployment of the Indiana state. With 50-100 new jobs opening and with the company hoping to expand, these numbers could continue to improve.
Unemployment in Fort Wayne was down to 6.6% in November of 2013. The 2014 rating of 5.1% is a vast improvement in just twelve months. One of the reasons why the unemployment rate is decreasing is partly because of new industries, such as that of 110Athletics bringing new jobs to the table.
Founder Aaron Knight states that jobs may range from nutritional specialists t marketing positions and more, including opportunities for sales representatives. Some jobs will be opened to introduce the nutritional and simple snack ideas for athletic kids.
Then there is the affiliation program that 110Athletics is also offering to their consumers. Affiliates, after registering, may earn 30-50% commissions on all their sales and are also given promotional materials like readymade email messages, posters, and others.
With both the affiliation program and the new job opportunities opening up, 110Athletics has more in store for their consumers than just healthy snacks for kids.
