VorNote: A Pinterest-like Site with Many Niche Sites for Advertisers

The basis of VorNote.com is that advertisers can come to the site and submit their products, messages, URLs, and locations so other customers can browse.

If you know anything about social media you have no doubt heard of Pinterest. One of the fastest growing and most popular of the many social sites, it has been so popular that it has spawned quite a few clone sites. With so many similar websites and websites in general available to the public, it is difficult to find one that is unique or stands-out in some way. However, a new website, VorNote.com, has managed to do just that, being B2B Pinterest-like sites. The basis of VorNote.com is that advertisers can come to the site and submit their products, messages, URLs, and locations so other customers can browse. The pins look very similar to that of Pinterest, with the image displayed above a description and a title that is a link to purchase the product. There are also the options to “like” and “repin” an image if you hover your mouse arrow over an image.

Different from Pinterest, VorNote.com does not have members that sign up for the site who do the pinning and re-pinning of images. Every pin on the website goes through the VorNote.com team, which keeps out the scams, spam posts, and comments that seem to litter so many other otherwise-good websites. Another advantage of VorNote.com is the ease of use and organization of the site and its categories. While one can be overwhelmed by the mass of information and images when logging into Pinterest or Pinterest-ish sites, VorNote.com abolishes that information overload by providing users with a sleek and clean website that does not overwhelm your senses.

Also, they have conveniently organized their pins by organizing their products into categories and putting a keyword search bar right under the categories to make sure customers can find whatever they are looking for. VorNote.com also has the following fifteen different pin sites, each with its own website and own pins: 1) PinFoodMenu.com; 2) PinBanks.com; 3) PinLenders.com; 4) PinAirlineHotels.com; 5) PinResorts.com; 6) PinApts.com; 7) PinCondos.com; 8) PinHousing.com; 9) PinAutoCars.com; 10) InsurancePins.com; 11) PinMerchandise.com; 12) PinDN.com; 13) PinBiography.com; 14) PinFreelancers.com; and 15) PinTalents.com.

A side note about http://PinTalents.com/ is that it is similar to Pinterest and yet quite different, too. It has a similar layout of course and the idea is comparable also. Basically, on PinTalents a person can submit their talent description, whatever it may be, and use the social site to promote it. If, for example, you are a singer or a writer you can submit that on PinTalents.com along with a video and the URL to your website, if you have one; as a result, people from all over the world will be able to see you and get an idea of what your special talent is. One big difference from Pinterest is that PinTalents does not gather online users, and they actually review all of the pins before they are posted. Reviewing pins ensure that spammers, scammers, and bots are kept out and also to make sure there is no phishing and to take advantage of fair use copyright law 107.

Another difference is that, in order to pin a talent description, users need to make a donation. There is no specified amount; therefore, it should not be an obstacle. The plan is to be able to support PinTalents with these donations and also affiliate links. If people can get past the few major differences, PinTalents has a great chance to be the next big thing. There are many talented people in all parts of the world trying to make it as a successful artist, so this site may just catch on.

VorNote.com continues to thrive with donations from advertisers on their site. Advertisers are allowed one message or product and one URL per donation, but there is no minimum (or maximum) donation for a pin on the site. This is an even greater deal than it seems at first as the pins remain on the site for as long as the business selling them is active, negating costly re-activation fees and avoiding re-posting multiple pins. Affiliate links also help generate some funding for VorNote.com. Since VorNote.com seems to have carved out a niche for itself in a saturated market, it is not hard to see the site as a successful one that will outlast many of its competitors at the moment. It also combines numerous products and niche markets all on one website, broadening both the awareness of their site and the interests of the business customers. Visit: http://VorNote.com today!
