Chicago, Illinois USA – The Greenhouse Theater adds 2-night Premier of “Elvolution” to its Winter Schedule.

A year after initial release, one of Sakura Publishing's most successful titles isn't just going strong, it's going big. Jason Kinnear has written a delightful tale entitled “Elvolution” - A story about an oppressed toy-making people called 'Elbanians' who flee 'Elbania' in order to live free. In their new land they experience much and eventually meet a wonderful man in a red suit named Santa Claus. This charming tale includes all the ingredients for a modern Christmas classic and its growth in popularity (plus attention paid by major booksellers and film studios) is the proof. Independent publisher, Sakura, is extremely proud to have introduced the talented Jason Kinnear to the world.

Mr. Kinnear grew up in Kenton, Ohio. He excelled in football which led to acceptance to Harvard. In order to pay for his education, Jason joined the Army ROTC and spent a few years working for the military. He married in 1998 and is the father of three boys. He is currently an Operations Manager for a Plastics Manufacturing Plant but, obviously, he is also an author. “Elvolution” is his first novel.

Chicago's famed venue, The Greenhouse Theater, has chosen to bring Kinnear's “Elvolution” to life with a stage adaptation written by Cheryl Thomas and directed by Christopher Poole. The special two-nite run opens December 3, 2012.
