Volt Converter Company is a leader among voltage converter manufacturer. Our main focus is creating the highest quality products. Volt Converter Company is an United States voltage converter maker located in Los Angeles. Our company concentrates on voltage converter design and voltage converter manufacture. The main products are voltage converter 110v to 220v, 220v to 110v voltage converter, step up voltage converter, step down voltage converter and so on.

Some electrical devices such as hairdryers (as opposed to "electronic" devices such as iPods) won't come with the internal voltage converter. So if that's what you're looking to use, you might still need to bring a voltage converter. Just be sure to get one that can handle the amount of voltage your device requires, otherwise you'll burn out your converter (and possibly blow a fuse in the process). You should check the back of ALL your devices to see if the voltage rating is printed or embossed as "100-240V". If so, then don't worry, simply connect the power plug to a socket (with your plug adapter, of course).

The United States and Canada use 110-volt electricity, while most countries outside North America use 220-volt electricity. Unless your appliance is dual voltage, you need to use a voltage converter to change the 220-volt electricity into 110-volt electricity in order to use a 110-volt appliance.

Those should work here or in Britain. You shouldn't encounter any other sockets other than the two pin shaver sockets in bathrooms. Theoretically you could find a building that hasn't been rewired for 50 years with old sockets, but perhaps it would be better not to plug anything into such a place! Remember this allows you plug in the plug but they do not convert the voltage, so make sure that your chargers are 230v/110v dual operation designs (most are). The battery charger is less likely to be dual voltage than the electronic chargers.
