The benchmark BSE index up 0.60 percent and the broader NSE index 0.58 percent higher, as blue-chips gain on value buying and tracking higher Asian shares.

NEW DELHI: The S&P BSE Sensex rallied as much as 233 points in trade on Friday supported by strong global cues. The rally in the index was led by gains in TCS, HDFC Bank, Tata MotorsBSE 1.76 % and HUL.
