A typical cable gland usually consists of a lock nut, washer, body, seal, and sealing nut. A double compression cable gland consists of the following components: check nut, entry sealing ring, nipple entry part, inner sealing ring, armor clamping cone, armor clamping ring, main gland body, outer seal ring, and compression nut. Cable glands are most commonly used at the entry points of electrical junction boxes and cable connectors.
