On December 22, Vietnam in general and Vietnamese SEOers in particular got a great honor to welcome Mr. Sundar Pichai – current Google CEO in Vietnam. He is the first senior official from Google to ever visit Vietnam. He is in charge of development, technology strategies, Chrome and Android services. After landing in Vietnam, the Google CEO had a meeting with the Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung. At the meeting, The Government leader called on Google to support and expand its co-operation with Vietnamese partners. And on his part, Pichai applauded Vietnam's development as well as its great potential for IT development.

After this meeting, Pichai also had an unorthodox meeting with Nguyen Dong, the father of Flappy Bird, and a meeting with a group of selected Vietnamese entrepreneurs and the startup community in Hanoi.
