Wellton Centrum Hotel & Spa hotel has 120 modern and tastefully decorated guestrooms with a historical ambiance that are equipped accordingly to modern 4-star hotel standard. All rooms are decorated in neutral colors incorporating fine materials and textile. Each room is perfect for an extended stay in Old Riga Town or just for an overnight stay – with comfortable beds, practical working area and bathrooms equipped with all the necessary amenities.
Hotel’s building history
Hotel’s eclectic style building was built in 1873 by architect Otto Dietze for L.Blankenstein’s frame lithography publishing house, which has changed multiple owners since that time. Otto Dietze was a German-born architect of the second half of the 19th century. In recent years frame lithography publishing house building has not been used and virtually destroyed. During the building reconstruction works, it turned out that under the old basement XIII century’s pawing and city wall’s fragments are hiding. Now these architectural elements and fragments are preserved and incorporated into the hotels interior design.
