The Government is Working to Ensure that Our Companies can go to International Tenders

Stresses the importance of international markets in Latin America and Asia for companies from Castilla-La Mancha

 
Spain, March 02, 2013 -- The Minister of Employment and Economy of Castilla-La Mancha, Carmen Home, said that "the Government of Cospedal works for companies of Castilla-La Mancha can attend international tenders with guaranteed success ". To this end, initiatives such as driving information day on various multilateral and bilateral agencies working in the field of international tenders to bring Castilian-La Mancha companies business opportunities that can be generated in these areas.

This seminar, organized by the Trade Promotion Institute of Castilla La Mancha (IPEX), under the Directorate General of European Strategy and European Affairs, the Ministry of Economy and Employment, has been attended by representatives of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the Andean Development Corporation (CAF) and the Development Fund for Water and Sanitation Spanish Agency of International Cooperation for Development (AECID).

During the meeting presented the project cycle, as developed in the Inter-American Development Bank, noting where they actually originate business opportunities, where you can pick up in advance, how to establish an effective strategy for undertake these projects, how to navigate the IDB website, and where active tenders are published.

The intervention also reported that the new platform will be operational during the year 2013, called "Connect Americas", which Spanish companies can register and access a database that will allow them to contact the local partners Latin American countries where they want to establish or participate in bidding consortia.

Regarding the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation and Development also presented the most technologically advanced solutions and easy to apply and maintain the Water Fund seeks in most public sanitation projects in countries where they have presence, especially Haiti, Nicaragua and Bolivia. They also looked at the work and the possibilities offered by the Andean Development Corporation (CAF).

Entrepreneurs attending this conference could learn from professionals funding opportunities for SMEs that CAF offers, through a special credit line in collaboration with the Instituto de Crédito Oficial (ICO), for those who want to develop a project or set in Latin America.

In this sense, also known called "Financing Clean Energy Project", which aims to promote SME projects in the clean energy sector, seeking alternatives and energy efficiency in Latin America.

For this sector, the CAF has a strategy management tool, designed to facilitate the work of companies wishing to assess the suitability of implementing projects using clean renewable energy anywhere in Latin America.
