The 12th Annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business has awarded ZON Technology a silver medal for Most Innovative Company of the Year, in the 10 or Less Employees category.
ZON, the maker of solar mobile device charging stations integrated into patio umbrellas, the Powersol, was one of more than 1,300 nominations throughout the 90 categories. Installed nationally in hotels, resorts, restaurants, and college campuses, the ZON Powersol harnesses solare power to charge a lithium-ion battery hub which can charge 3 USB devices as quickly as a wall outlet, day or night.
The Stevie Awards for Women in Business are the world’s top honors for female entrepreneurs, executives, employees, and the organizations they run. All individuals and organizations worldwide are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small. The 2015 awards received entries from 31 nations and territories.
The awards were presented to winners on November 13th at the Marriot Marquis Hotel in New York City.
