The Langtang Valley Trek seemed to have come to an end since the 2015 Earthquake that totally destroyed the Langtang Valley. But, don't worry, this journey is still going on! The walk to Langtang is totally risk-free and enchanting with the valley reconstructed in a safer location. The trek begins with a long drive through Dhunche to Syabrubesi village along the Trishuli River. After passing the villages of Pahiro, Lower Rimche and Upper Rimche, start a trip to the Lama Hotel the next day. Further up you see us at Ghoda Tabela before lastly reaching our Langtang Village destination. The site was devastated and razed during the 2015 earthquake, but now the village has once again climbed some 100 meters from the previous site. Our arrival at the Kyanjin Gompa will be marked by an simple walk from the Langtang Village, which is also the core of the Langtang National Park. Here is the country's biggest Mani wall, and the monastery itself, not to mention it. The next day we walk up a narrow icy trail at the Kyanjin Gompa to summit the 5000-meter-high Tserko RI. Also, don't forget about the Gompa yak cheese factory. While there, the Langtang Lirung Glacier and a neighboring lake also create space for a brief visit. Enjoy the snow-capped peaks like the Langtang Lirung, Langtang RI, Tserko RI, Ganesh and other peaks like that. Return to the Lama Hotel now and follow the same rough paths to Syabrubesi. Returning to the country's capital city, Kathmandu is seeing an end to this journey with a long drive along the manner.
