Once upon a time, a stupid man didn't have any hair on his head. One day, someone hit the man’s head twice or so with a wooden stick. The head’s broken, and he bore all the suffering himself. People passed by saw the whole thing and suggested him to run away. The man said, “the man who hit me is just an arrogant bully, stupid in a way. Seeing that my head doesn’t have any, and presuming that my head is a rock, hitting me with a stick, that’s why my head’s broken.” Passersby said, “You such an idiot, you thought he is stupid. If you’re not stupid, then why you didn’t run away and let the man hit you.”
The story is used to describe the Buddhist who doesn’t learn percepts, concentration and wisdom, but does learn the outlook only to get praised. As a result, he can only bear the pain himself, just like the stupid man.--The Letter of Hundreds of Analogy

So the story gives us a clue about the importance of knowing the true meaning of everything, of thoroughly getting the world's meaning, of being self-disciplined to make one be a better man.
But suppose we don't concern about the true meaning of the story, we could shift the story settings into a whole new area.

Here is the Brainstorming Part

If the stupid man born in modern society, he would have much more choice to choose. For example, he could get these troubles done simply by wearing a toupee, or men's hairpiece, or non-surgical hair replacement. Then he wouldn't be teased in such way. So sad he doesn't born in our world today.
Ignoring my imaginary naive idea for a second.
