What is X21s?

X21s is a GPU-friendly mining algorithm, which enables users to mine cryptocurrencies using GPU computing hardware. The technology might be further developed in the future based on the market/user demands.

Why titan blockchain uses X21s

X21s is a new mining hash (algorithm), which has been developed on the properties of X22i and X16s algorithms. It starts with the same 16 hash functions as the X16s and goes on to add 5 additional algorithms - haval256, gost512, tiger, lyra2, and sha256.

SHA-256 is a well-known cryptographic hash algorithm that generates a unique 256-bit (32-byte) hash (signature) for any text that is fed to it.

Lyra2 is an advanced hashing algorithm that makes titan blockchain more secure by making it nearly impossible to parallelize the algorithm, as each following step depends on the successful computation of the previous step.

GOST-512 is an improved hash function inspired by the GOST-256 cryptographic algorithm.

Haval-256 is a cryptographic hash function that produces encrypted hash in 256 bits. It allows users to select the rounds to produce the hash.

Tiger is a cryptographic hash function used for 64-bit platforms and generates a hash of 192-bit value.
