Sri Govindaraja swami temple is an ancient Hindu-Vaishnavite temple located in Tirupati city in chittoor District of AP State in India. He is the Elder brother of Lord Balaji who Accomplished marriage between lord Balaji and Goddess Padmavathi. Kodanda Rama Swamy Temple:

Kodanda Rama Swamy temple is one of the famous temple in Tirupati. This temple is dedicated to Lord Rama along with his consort Sita Devi and Lord Lakshmana.Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy temple was built by Cholas King during the 10th century .Later it was developed by sri Krishna Deva Raya in 15 th Century. Visiting timings for Kodanda Rama swamy temple is started at 05:00 am and ends at 08:30 pm. Kapileswara Temple:

Kapileswara swami temple is the temple dedicated to Lord Shiva It is located at 3 km to the north of Tirupati. The idol in Kapileswara temple is installed by ancient sage kapila Muni and Lord Shiva in this temple is called as Kapileswara. The waters of Mountain Stream fall directly in to temple Known as Kapila Theertham.Peoples Believe that they will get rid of all sins those who take bath in kapila teertham during karthika Masam. Isckon Temple:

Isckon temple in temple is one of the largest Isckon temple in south india. It is located at the footsteps of tirumala hills. This temple was setup based on the idea of Srila Prabhupada when he visits tirumala. In 1984 a small idol of Lord Krishna and Goddess Radha were installed in a small temple .From 2005 it is open to all. Sri Kalyana Venkateswara swamy temple is located at Srinivasa Mangapuram which is 12 km away from Tirupati Railway station and 11 km from Tirupati Bus Stand. This temple is dedicated to the lord Venkateswara and famously called as Kalyana Venkateswara. After Marriage, Lord Venkateswara with Padmavathi visited sage Agastyas ashramam. Agasthya suggested that newly weds don’t climb hills for six months. So Lord Venkateswara and Goddess Padmavathi stayed at Mangapuram later it was called as Srinivasa Mangapuram. Appalyagunta temple:

Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy Temple is famous temple in Appalayagunta. The temple is dedicated to lord Venkateswara and famously called as Prasanna Venkateswara. After marriage Lord Venkateswara takes blessings of siddeshwara and other sages with his wife Padmavathi. This is the resting place for Lord Balaji during his travel to tirumala. This temple is located in Appalyagunta which is 15 to 16 km away from Tirupati. Visiting times started from 5:45 am to 8:00 pm. Friday Abhishekam is famous in this temple. Brahmotsavam is celebrated in a great manner in the month of May/June for a period of 10 days

Chandragiri:

Chandragiri Fort is Famous Fort built in 11th Century AD in Chandragiri. Originally it was built by Yadava Naidu Kings and ruled by them for 3 centuries later it was under control of vijayanagara rulers and right now it is a archaeological museum and it is an instance of indo-sarcen of vijayanagra period. The crowning towers represent the Hindu architectural elements. The palace was constructed using stone, brick, lime mortar and devoid of timber. The Chandragiri Fort is located in Chandragiri which is 15 km away from Tirupati and opens 7:30 am and closes 6:30 pm
