Today, a wide range of mixing equipment such as slurry mixers and slurry pumps have been developed for various applications such as chemical processing, food industry, bakeries, beverages processing, construction, agriculture and many more. Modern technologies have been applied to the equipment to meet your needs in the paste, powder, liquid and slurry applications.

When you’re working in a large project where elements need to be combined together at a high speed pace and produce a perfectly mixed liquid, you will need to use slurry mixers and slurry pumps. A wise choice of these 2 will ascertain that the mixing will be properly done at a speed which is appropriate for a particular application.

If you are to mix concrete, you may choose from 3 options – you mix by hand, buy concrete ready made, or use a cement slurry mixers. Like slurry pumps, there are various models of mixing equipment available. They can be purchased, or hired when the job is only for a short period of time. Mixers can be run by petrol or electricity. When you are using a machine which is electricity powered, you need to plug it into the mains, and position it near the ballasts for easy access. This will minimize the need to push around heavy barrow loads.

In addition to positioning your mixing equipment, a slab of an existing concrete is the ideal place. You can clean it by hosing it down immediately afterwards. A large mixing board is also a good option, to reduce the odd pieces of gravel, cement and mixed concrete from finding their way under your mixer. Use a bucket, instead of shovel, to measure out the cement and sharp gravel and sand. However the bucket must not be too large, because you may find yourself ending up with an amount of ingredients that your cement slurry mixers can handle. Consider the size of the drum when mixing the amount of concrete: if the amount is too small, the concrete may not correctly mix. However, when the amount is too large, the machine may be overloaded.

When you are done mixing, the mixer must be cleaned. Even if you are only to take a 30 minutes break, the cleaning must not be put until later. The same should also be done to the other tools like wheelbarrow, buckets or shovels. Always clean the drum’s insides. To do this, shovel some ballasts and some water in the drum. Run it for about 5 minutes. Then hose down the inside. Turn the motor off, then clean out the odd comers with an old brush. There can be remaining mix behind the mixing blades that should be taken off.

When you need to buy a mixer and slurry pumps, good judgment should be exercised in selecting the right equipment. This can save you a lot of money, downtime, and countless maintenance hours. Let the supplier know in what particular industry you will need the equipment and make sure that he can provide you with what you need.
