It is common knowledge that dietary supplements are must when someone is into bodybuilding. Why it is so is rather simple. When you do those intense weight training exercises you need your body to be absolutely fit so that it can endure the long hours of workouts. For your body to be this fit you need something special in terms of essential nutrients. While your healthy diet has a combination of essential elements like proteins, vitamins and minerals, there are other elements that you need. Bodybuilding supplements rich on protein and pro hormones are considered the best for bodybuilding and this is why they should be consumed.

Someone may argue and say that they have food rich on protein and pro hormones. But think about it - can your food give you the required amount of proteins and prohormones that you need? It can but you will need to eat an insane amount of it. Supplements, on the other hand, are packed with concentrated doses of proteins, prohormones, vitamins, minerals, amino acids, essential fatty acids, fibres and more. A glass of shake before you work out and a bar after your workout is over is enough to carry you on for 2 to 3 hours. And these bars and shakes will give your body enough energy so that you don't feel tired even after spending time on rigorous weight training exercises.

There is emphasis on protein because it is the building block of muscles. Your sole purpose of bodybuilding is to build those rippling muscles and you will never achieve your goal if your body doesn't get enough inputs of protein. Whey, caseine, soy and egg protein are some of the most important ingredients for successful bodybuilding and they must be consumed by you.

There are other advantages that place so much emphasis on protein. For example, when your muscles become sore after you work out it is the protein that helps them heal and recover faster. Protein also supplies extra energy to your body so that you can spend more time in the gym without getting fatigued.

As far as pro hormones are concerned, they are essential for bodybuilding because they enhance the strength of the existing hormones of the body. Prohormones also let the body have reserve strength of hormones when it needs them during workouts. Prohormones also let you increase your strength and size but without putting on any extra weight.

Some people think that it is illegal to have pro hormones because they are considered similar to anabolic steroids. This is a complete myth because prohormones and anabolic steroids are different. While steroids can add hormones to the body prohormones don’t do that. Prohormones also don’t have side effects like steroids. Even the FDA now recognizes the importance of prohormones as dietary supplement.

If you are into bodybuilding you better put the needed emphasis on protein and pro hormones. Without any of these your quest to build rippling muscles will be incomplete no matter how many hours you spend at the gym.
