For your knowledge In 2000, Jokhang Temple was added to the list as part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site with the Potala Palace, a spiritual centre of Lhasa.

Barkhor Street:

Barkhor Street is a historical & religious street surrounding Jokhang Temple and placed in the downtown area of Lhasa. Barkhor Street is the most vital and renowned devotional kora(circuit), actually a pilgrim circumambulation.
