Visit the Potala Palace:

Placed in the centre of Lhasa city, the Potala Palace is a must-visit whenever you are in Tibet. This palace is 400m wide from east to west & 350m from north to south. It features a sloping stone wall with average 3m thick, 5m thick at the base. There’re thirteen stories in the palace building, which houses over 1,000 rooms, 10,000 temples and approximately 200,000 statues.

Jokhang Temple:

The temple is placed inside the Barkhor Street in the city centre of Lhasa city. The shrine was 1st built during the sway of King Songsten Gampo. It was documented that severl Nepalese artists came to construct the temple. For majority of the Tibetans Jokhang Monastery is the most holy & important temple in Tibet. For your knowledge In 2000, Jokhang Temple was added to the list as part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site with the Potala Palace, a spiritual centre of Lhasa.

Barkhor Street:

Barkhor Street is a historical & religious street surrounding Jokhang Temple and placed in the downtown area of Lhasa. Barkhor Street is the most vital and renowned devotional kora(circuit), actually a pilgrim circumambulation.
